How do I start my search?
There are several ways you can start your property search today:
1. Speak to your local Foxtons office
Our sales and lettings teams are working from our branches following strict COVID-19 safety guidelines, and are available to help you with your property search. Please contact the office in the area you are interested in here.
2. Start your search online
Foxtons.co.uk is the UK’s most visited estate agency website with thousands of property listings across London and the Home Counties. We currently have over 2,000 property videos available for you to view, and you can enquire directly about any property you are interested in through the website.
3. Preview properties in My Foxtons
My Foxtons is an industry-leading online property portal which provides support throughout your entire property transaction. Create your account and receive information on new listings that match your requirements before they are uploaded to property aggregators.
Can I still view properties?
Following a thorough risk assessment of our procedures we will be carrying out in-person viewings. Our priority is maintaining the safety of our customers and teams, and we will ensure that all parties involved in a viewing adhere to strict safety measures. Please ensure you have all the information you need about a property before arranging a viewing and if possible have seen a video tour of the property first. Please note that only one household, plus your Foxtons negotiator, can attend viewings. Sharers who do not currently live together do not count as one household.
In the meantime, we have over 2,000 property tour videos uploaded to our website which have been filmed by our sellers and landlords. Video tours give you a good insight into a property, and if you have any further questions our sales and lettings teams are here to help.
For a full list of FAQs relating to in-person viewings, please click here.
To view properties with video tours you can use the 'video tour' filter on your search results, or click here here for sales properties with video tours, or here for lettings properties with video tours.
How can I get alerts for new properties?
When you set up your My Foxtons account you will have the option of creating property alerts. If you set these up you will be sent the details of any properties that match your requirements as soon as we are instructed, and before they are added to aggregators like Zoopla and Rightmove.
What happens if I like a property I see?
If you have all the information you need about a property and would like to arrange a viewing please speak to the relevant Foxtons branch who will be able to let you know if a viewing will be possible. Offers can be submitted through your My Foxtons account, and all terms and conditions for lettings properties can also be signed online when an offer is accepted. For any further questions surrounding submitting offers, please speak to your Foxtons negotiator.
Can I still move into a property?
Newly published Government guidelines state that people wanting to move home can do so, however all precautions should be taken in order to prevent the spread of Coronavirus. All parties are encouraged to be flexible surrounding exchange and completion dates to accommodate those who are shielding or experiencing symptoms of the virus.
Our sales and lettings teams can provide further information regarding move-in dates for properties on a case-by-case basis.
