Live where spring-blossoming trees make the air a little sweeter.

This season in London often brings a big wave of relief. Fluffy cherry trees, petal-packed camellias and fragrant magnolias burst into colour as the most beautiful signal that the lingering winter is finally ending. We can’t resist their charms; Foxtons agents who conduct property viewings down pink tree-lined streets often head back to the office with a spring in their step. So we’ll introduce you to a few homes on the market we love for their proximity to flowering trees.

Regent’s Park

Regent’s Park has a wealth of spring flowering trees. Chester Avenue in Regents Park went through a renewal, replacing diseased cherry blossom trees in 2015, but the new trees will put on a beautiful show this year, along with the lovely cherry blossom display in Avenue Gardens.

Just outside Regent’s Park, this exceptional home has a double reception room with feature fireplaces, two studies, two conservatories and a huge, mature garden of its own.

Kensington and Chelsea

The royal borough of Kensington and Chelsea is in full bloom. The Albert monument and Kensington Gardens are fantastic for taking pictures, but we also suggest a wander through residential Chelsea, where so many sidewalks and street corners have flowering trees.

A newly available lateral apartment in a mansion block along Chelsea’s King’s Road. This apartment is situated by some of the most famously floral residential streets in Chelsea, and just over Albert Bridge from Battersea Park, which has Cherry Tree Avenue, one of the best displays of cherry blossoms in London each spring.

This lateral apartment is near the previous listing, just because Chelsea fits the bill so well. This apartment is modern and spacious, in a quiet Manson Block courtyard across from the Physic Garden – London’s oldest botanical garden.

Holland Park

This park is one of the best for cherry blossoms because it contains the Kyoto Garden, a gift from the city of Kyoto to commemorate friendship between Japan and Great Britain. There are more cherry trees, jacarandas and magnolias in other areas of the park as well, so you’re sure to get your flower fix here.

Enviably located just opposite Holland Park, this expansive three-storey, six-bed home has gorgeous period features and a generous reception room leading to a decked garden.
