Ugly is a London-based six-piece British art rock band from Cambridge formed in 2016. The group has performed with and likened to Black Country, New Road and Lime Garden. Unlike contemporaries, Ugly boasts folk music instrumentation and rich and dramatic vocal harmonies.

The Italian Takeover's spin off free event format, "Battle Royal" returns for its third time edition on May 20th at Box Park Shoreditch. Unlike the usual format, like the previous "Battle Royal", this edition will exclusively spotlight up-and-coming Italian talent based in London. The lineup will feature an impressive 14 artists, ranging from slightly more established to emerging talents. The performance order has been determined by assigning each artist a number and using a random number generator to set the sequence. Each artist will have 10 minutes on stage to showcase their talent. After all the performances, both the audience and the participating artists will have the chance to vote for their favorite performer via Google Forms. The winner of the "The Italian Takeover Battle Royal" edition will be granted an opening slot at the next major "The Italian Takeover" event. Lineup: Tre Fedi, Deshi, BG Racks, Il Cervo, Daads, Kahlushh, Luzzo, JM, 11 The Truth, CallMeD, Tyson Willy, Yng Metro, Neyman, and Davoh.
