The original line-up of UB40 with Ali, Astro and Mickey enjoyed huge success over a period of 30 years from 1979 until 2008, including number 1 album’s and multiple top 10 gold and platinum selling albums and Grammy nominations, 4 number ones worldwide. Total of 70 million plus sales. We would not want anyone to confuse Ali, Astro and Mickey’s band with the band that carried on using the name UB40 after 2008 made up of other founding members and new members they tried to replace us with in their attempt to trade off the reflected glory of the success of the original line-up. Ali Campbell, founding member of the original UB40, embarks on a UK tour.

Redbridge Cycling Centre offers one to one coaching for adults and children (we recommend 6 years and over) to learn to ride. In the last year the centre has hundreds of people how to ride and it is never too late to learn! Sessions can be booked according to your schedule and are £40 for 1 hour, which includes a bike, helmet and instruction. Learn To Ride 1 to 1 session £40.00. Learn To Ride session 2 participants £72.00 get a 10% discount if you bring a friend along. Most people pick up the basics of riding within the hour and do not require any further sessions, however the centre can also provide follow up sessions or refreshers if required. Please note these sessions are very popular and there may be waiting list in operation depending on demand.

During school holidays, we run popular Water sports camps to keep your kids entertained at Fairlop Outdoor Activity Centre. The multi-activity week includes sailing, kayaking, canoeing, raft building, bell boating and orienteering. Timings daily are from 9.30am-4pm, with drop off from 9.15am and pick up by 4.15pm. The course runs all week from Tuesday to Friday. There is no daily booking option available.

Suitable for competent cyclists who wish to try BMX, this course is an introduction to the basic techniques needed to ride the BMX track safely. Riders must be able to cycle standing up on the pedals out of the saddle to do this course. Ages are for guidelines only so please call the Centre to check suitability of course for the child. A parental consent form is also required prior to the session. Courses are all held outdoors so please be prepared for inclement weather. Refunds will only be given for course cancellations by the centre. Please note all courses start at time shown and participants should be at the Centre prior to this time.

Join the Forest Education Ranger for a morning tour around Foxburrows Farm. Discover the animals that live here, and help our Farm Rangers to give some of them their breakfast. Starting before the Farm is open to the public, this tour will teach you about the animals that we have on the farm, including how some can help to manage the forest. There will also be the opportunity to feed some animals (please note that we cannot guarantee feeding specific animals)
