“Clapham Common has something for everyone - great places to eat and drink, lots of outdoor space for kids and dogs, lively bars on Clapham High Road in the evenings, a tube station (northern line Clapham Common), or Overground (Wandsworth Road is about 10 mins walk away), great schools for kids (Clapham Manor) and colleges for the older one’s (Lambeth College).”

Clapham Common is an 89 hectare (220 acre) triangular area of grassland situated between Clapham, Battersea and Balham in south London. The common contains three ponds which are historical features and a more modern paddling pool known as Cock Pond. The common is surrounded by many fine houses which began to be built in the 1790s and became fashionable dwellings. Holy Trinity Church (1776) is close to the North Side of the common.
