Hampstead Rock Choir
If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Rock Choir.
The Golders Green Rock Choir is led by vocal teacher Nicola Cain. The Golders Green branch is part of the unique national singing family that is Rock Choir. Whilst retaining our focus on Golders Green community causes and events, all the local London choirs come together in regional and even national groups for bigger events, such performing en masse at the Royal Albert Hall, achieving album sales that enter the charts, local flashmobs and Guinness World Records and helping to raise millions for charity. Joining this incomparable musical national treasure is very easy, there are no auditions, there's no need to read music and we're open to everyone in your local community!
We sing in Golders Green every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in Golders Green or London. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Golders Green community together through something as simple as joining a choir.
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I joined Rock Choir after being made redundant and being out of work for a year, so was feeling fairly low. Immediately I was greeted like an old friend and made to feel welcome. Since then I have gone on to meet new friends, have a great time every week and culminating to doing a solo at a local festival. If you'd have said to me a year ago I'd have the confidence to not only sing in front of people, but do a solo, I'd have told you not to be so silly. Rock Choir has become a v important part of my life, for the better.' - Alex (Rock Choir member)
