Shakespeare in the Squares - The Taming of the Shrew
Shakespeare in the Squares will be back this summer to celebrate their eighth anniversary with a new production of The Taming of the Shrew, a battle of wits, wills and wild romance complete with toe-tapping pop classics. Shakespeare in the Squares is a not-for-profit touring theatre company that stages a new Shakespeare play across London for one night in each venue every summer. This years programme features 34 performances across 28 beautiful London locations. The tour kicks off on Wednesday 4th June in Leinster Square, W2, and concludes over five weeks later in The Actors Church Garden, WC2. London Tour Day with Andrew Graham-Dixon
The London Tour Day with Andrew Graham-Dixon will begin in central London at 10:30am and finish around 4pm. The day will includes a group tour of the National Gallery's Caracci Cartoons, Myths in the Making , as well as some of its permanent collection. This will be followed by lunch and a short walk to the Courtauld, where we will visit Goya and Impressionism , and the permanent collection. The cost of the tour day is 265 per person, which does not include travel or food/drink. We will, however, lunch together and stop for plenty of refreshments as required!
