The group – now in its 29th year – explores some of the highlights of its glittering international career at the cutting edge of baroque performance.

Stoke Poges Summer Concert will be our last concert with our Music Director, Andy Langley. Sadly, due to a house move Andy will be leaving us after this concert. Therefore this will be a "Best of" Stoke Poges Singers led by Andy over the last nine years. Don't miss it!

Ondine Academy's annual Awards Party - all students are invited to attend. This event is for STUDENTS of Ondine Academy ONLY. 4.30-8.30pm at Chalfont St. Peter Community Centre Saturday 17th May 2025 Students in school Year 6 are invited to stay until 8.30pm, all students in school year 5 and below must be collected at 6pm.

If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes! The Gerrards Cross Rock Choir is led by choir leader Katy Seath. Our choir is made up of people who never thought they would join a choir or would even sing for fun and that's the beauty of joining our choir. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the nearby Buckinghamshire choirs too. Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper at the O2 arena (which we've done!), there's a place for you in the Gerrards Cross Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about! Here is a quote about our choir - 'I joined Rock Choir after being made redundant and being out of work for a year, so was feeling fairly low. Immediately I was greeted like an old friend and made to feel welcome. Since then I have gone on to meet new friends, have a great time every week and culminating to doing a solo at a local festival. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.

A series of two lunchtime recitals on Friday 9th and 16th may given by students from Royal Holloway University of London and Thorpe House School at All Saints Church in Chalfont St Peter (SL9 8 QA) starting at 12:15 pm and lasting 50 mins It is our pleasure to again welcome talented young musicians from Royal Holloway University of London who entertained us brilliantly last May at the time of their end-of-year recitals under the direction of Tim Travers-Brown, the distinguished counter-tenor who has generously helped All Saints in recent years. And underlining our support for young musicians, singers from neighbouring Thorpe House School have accepted an invitation to participate too. Programme details can be found below. Friday 9th Royal Holloway Samuel Richards - baritone, singing Vaughan-Williams Songs of Travel with Tom Jesty accompanying. Alicia Hunt - mezzo-soprano, singing Debussy, Mozart, Chausson, Bernstein, Brittena and Poulenc. Friday 16th Royal Holloway | Thorpe HouseThorpe House School - Singers from Year 7 will perform a piece for us. Toby Wright - countertenor, singing Handel, Purcell, Mozart, Quilter, Michael Head, Ivor Novello, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Bernstein with Tim Travers-Brown accompanying. Grace Hindle - mezzo-soprano, singing Bizet, Elgar, Handel, Berlioz and Schubert with Daniel Ayers accompanying. These informal weekly performances lasting about 50 minutes will again showcase the enthusiasm and confidence of accomplished young performers. Tickets are not required but an optional 5 donation on the door to help with expenses is suggested. Come a few minutes early to enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit in the nave. By all means bring a packed lunch if wished. Everyone is welcome, young and old, so do invite your family, friends and neighbours. No booking needed: please just walk in.
