The fun Easter egg hunt at RHS Garden Wisley has an egg-citing new twist this year. As well as the classic quest, children can turn ‘detective’ when they seek out the colourful eggs hidden in the beautiful garden. Just be sure to grab the special code-breaker packs on arrival so your young sleuths have everything they need to solve the mystery. The £2.50 pack contains the top-secret information and tools needed to crack the ‘egg-nigma’ code. Each giant egg found will reveal a special symbol which, when translated and combined with clues from other eggs, will spell the solution to the puzzle. Your cunning code crackers will be rewarded with chocolate treats for solving the challenge! Parents can save time at the door and money on entry by taking advantage of the advance booking discount available online only - remember too that kids 5-16 years are now just £5 and under 5’s go free.

Historically-informed solo-voice choir The Queenes Chappell make their return to the Surrey Bach Festival, for a beautiful evening concert of meditative choral music. The Queenes Chappell is a young, versatile vocal consort committed to the performance of 16th, 17th and 18th century repertoire in a bold, vivid, and historically informed style. Founded in 2022 by Artistic Director Matthew Brown, the group has presented concerts across London and beyond, and is fast establishing itself as a fresh and exciting interpreter of Renaissance and Baroque repertoire. The group is now resident at St Marys Church, Stoke dAbernon, a historic church with a long and rich history of historical performance. Previously, The Queenes Chappell were engaged as Artists-in-Residence at St Mary-le-Strand in central London, and have appeared in the Italian Sounds in London and Baroquestock festivals. Its members are drawn from Londons best solo and consort singers, who sing with other premiere ensembles such as Voces8, Monteverdi Choir, Gabrieli Consort, Tenebrae, and The Sixteen.

A trail inspired by the book of the same name along with the seasonal collection I love you all year round. The trail contains a series of activities that encourage children to learn through play, using the senses and engaging with shapes and colours to explore the garden in a thoughtful and playful way. You’ll also be able to step into the book alongside Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare, replicating some key scenes from the original story.

Come along and have a go at making and decorating a tealight and a wave. All materials will be supplied and no experience is necessary and is suitable for beginners. You will be able to make both items during the workshop, with guidance from the tutor. These lovely designs are created by applying crushed glass (frit) onto sheet glass then the tutor will take the completed items to be fired in the kiln. They will then be delivered to SFWI Office for collection and distribution. 35 per person. WI MEMBERS ONLY

The Wedding Singer features a large chorus with many featured roles for actors who sing and dancers who act and everyone else, of course !
