Originally a village in the county of Surrey, Mitcham is now a mostly residential area in the London Borough of Merton. Mitcham is located 7.2 miles (11.6 km) southwest of Charing Cross and has good transport links that include railway stations, Tramlink stops, day and night buses and coach services. Family-friendly and multicultural, the area offers affordable homes, great amenities, and enough green space to create a peaceful atmosphere.
