Step into a deep listening experience and be transported away from the noise. This immersive installation is brought to Richmond Arts and Ideas Festival by A Right/Left Project (Stephen Dobbie and Colin Nightingale - associate artists at Punchdrunk). Combining cutting edge spatial sound design, lighting and composition, ORIGIN invites you into a collective deep listening experience at the cross-over between art and wellness. Born out of a desire to create a calming space to allow the audience to slow down and disconnect from the everyday, this mesmeric audio world explores themes around the cycle of life and our human connection with nature. With music composed in collaboration with Toby Young and lighting design by Ben Donoghue, each cycle of the experience reveals what is hidden at its core. Information for Ticket Holders ORIGIN is a durational sound installation on a continuous loop and audiences can expect to spend 30 40mins inside. Tickets are available at time slots on the half-hour. You will be able to enter up to 20mins after the time on your ticket. Last entry for the day will be 30mins before closing. Entry into the installation will be in small groups to minimise disturbing those audience already inside and so you may need to wait up to 15 mins for entry. There is no cloakroom at the venue. Please avoid bringing large bulky items as they will not be permitted inside the installation This installation is not suitable for under 12s and any under 18s need to be accompanied by an adult.

Fronted by Elvira Rey, a versatile vocalist with a smoky, yet smooth mezzo-soprano voice and extensive experience performing at a wide range of events, including weddings, corporate functions, members’ clubs, and various theatre productions. She brings remarkable professionalism and artistry to the trio. Guitarist Jakub Klimiuk and double bassist Asaph Tal bring exceptional musicality, experience and a refined jazz feel, ensuring each performance is nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the trio being "born" just last year, each member brings a wealth of experience performing at London's renowned venues.
