Jonny Liebeck’s genre-defying jazz journey returns canal-side to GROW Hackney on Wednesday 14th May, blending classic influences with contemporary sounds for an unforgettable night. Pianist, composer, and bandleader Jonny Liebeck returns to Grow Hackney with his quintet for a night of genre-blending jazz, soul, and electronic grooves. Known for his distinctive fusion of jazz, funk, house, jungle, and breakbeat, Jonny’s music bridges the gap between traditional and contemporary sounds, creating a fresh and dynamic experience. "Grow has always been a warm, welcoming place for me to play jazz. In 2019, the Wednesday jazz jam was like my Friday night out, and in recent times I've been putting on yearly shows there with my band.
