Hounslow Youth Theatre 12 - 15 Years (DIAMONDS) The Arts Centre Hounslow is a thriving community theatre and arts hub, committed to making the performing arts accessible to all. For over 10 years, we have provided high-quality theatre experiences, workshops, and events, with a strong focus on engaging children and young people. Through our productions, school partnerships, and creative programmes, we inspire the next generation of performers, helping them develop confidence, creativity, and essential life skills. Our 1215s Youth Theatre is perfect for young people looking to take their passion for theatre to the next level. Led by experienced professionals, our weekly sessions focus on acting techniques, character development, script work, and performance skills. Whether they are aspiring actors, interested in backstage roles, or simply looking to build confidence and have fun, our Youth Theatre offers a welcoming and supportive environment. Participants will work towards performances, gain a deeper understanding of theatre, and develop skills that will benefit them both on and off the stage. + Bursary places and payment schemes are available. If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can! The local Staines choir is run by singing teacher Danny Gortler. Our choir is made up of many locals who never thought they could sing or hadn't found the right outlet for their secret singing in the car or shower. I don't think any of us expected to make the huge number of great friends we have along the way not just in our own choir but all the local Middlesex branches of Rock Choir too! With no audition process, no need to read music and no pressure to sing live or perform until you're ready, Danny's expert tuition will guide you through our unique arrangements of your favorite pop, Motown and rock hits from the 1960s to the latest 2023 chart songs. Whether you're joining to make new friends, find some time for yourself or even find the courage to sing on a stage, the fun and relaxed atmosphere at our rehearsals will really boost your spirits and leave you with a natural high! Our Spring concert, "Another Op'nin, Another Show!" will includesongs from a wide selection of well-known musical shows. We are delighted to announce that we have two very special guest soloists who played Evita and Che Guavara in our sell-out production of "Evita" last year!

The eponymous house is a rambling old structure of ancient vintage overlooking the English Channel. Years ago a yacht heading for the South of France sank in a storm and everyone on board perished. Sometimes at night, they say, you can hear them screaming for help, crying out against the storm.The houses occupants include Ellen Clayton, a lovely young heiress who is confined to a wheelchair, Karen Lloyd, her coolly beautiful stepmother and Jenny, the austere housekeeper.Ellen is looked after by Dr Lane who leaves suddenly to attend a conference overseas. Nurse Pepper arrives, a cheerful, curious person intent on putting things in order. And theres the substitute doctor, Corey Philips, who believes Ellen can walk again and soon.It all begins with a sudden, violent murder and ends with a chilling, surprising climax.
