The Horsley Live Music Club welcomes members and friends to its Midsummer Music Party in the garden of the Barley Mow in West Horsley. The event will feature headline act, The Deputies - one of London's finest sixties band - plus local performer, Andrew Maxwell-Morris and friends. If wet, the main band will perform in the Malting House, behind the pub. Food and drinks will be available throughout the afternoon, including a Bar and BBQ in the garden.
SUPPORTING CHERRY TREES
Cherry Trees , our brilliant local children's charity, provides a fantastic service to children with complex disabilities and their parents, and relies upon charitable donations for a significant part of its income. Everything we raise from this event, after costs, will go to Cherry Trees. Last year, we raised more than 2,500 and hope to exceed that this year. So, while this event is free to enter, we hope that you will be happy to consider making a donation by buying advance tickets.
ADVANCE TICKETS
A limited number of advance voluntary donation tickets are available - these are 10 per person. If you purchase tickets in advance, you get priority admittance to the Malting House to see the band, in the event of rain. For this reason, advance voluntary donation tickets are limited to 100 people. You also have the satisfaction of knowing that come what may, you have supported the event and the charity.
THE DEPUTIES
Our headline act, The Deputies, are well-known faces on the legendary Richmond and Twickenham music scene. They are a good-time sixties covers band - more blues and rock than cuddly pop - and perform regularly on the pub and festival circuit around London and the South East. They are a side-project of well-known producer/composer/performer Rick Cassman and are all seasoned pros. Listen to their recent album, A Whole Lotta Covers, on Spotify, or watch the videos on our website.
