We moved to Cheam from Kingston Upon Thames approximately 3 years ago. We were worried initially as we had never heard of Cheam! However having discovered it we found some properties were exceptionally large and your money went a lot further. After further research, we discovered Cheam in the borough of Sutton boasts not one grammar school, but three. The rail links are good and the choice of trains from Sutton Station is excellent, including regular trains to London Bridge, Victoria and Clapham Junction! So commuting to London is very easy and typically 28 mins to Victoria. You can also get the Thameslink service to Blackfriars/Elephant & Castle. Overall we love it now and can still get to Kingston for our shopping, whilst enjoying a fantastic house with a driveway and large garden!
