If you are wanting to find a local choir to join you'll like singing with us in the Rock Choir. The Bromley Rock Choir is led by singing teacher Michael Fricker. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Michael. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, on top of the BT tower and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge. The true afrobeat experience is coming South! Join us as we head deep into the night, guided by Fela Kuti’s original rhythm keyboard player across a four-hour live afrobeat marathon, channelling the party spirit of the sound’s glorious history. The 12-piece band, many of which are residents of Dele Sosimi’s esteemed Afrobeat Orchestra, will be keeping the dancefloor alight with Dele covering Afrobeat anthems such as ‘Too Much Information’, ‘E Go Betta’ and Fela Kuti classics like ‘Water Get No Enemy’. With a strong vision on recreating the sparkling atmosphere of Fela’s Lagos club, Afrika Shrine, expect a late-night explosion of afrobeat rhythms, setting alight the Colour Factory dancefloor with their big band energy.
