Norwood Grove House
Known locally as the "White House", Norwood Grove House and its well-tended formal gardens were opened in 1926 by the future King Edward VIII. It is the centrepiece of Norwood Grove itself; a large expanse of grass from which you can overlook Streatham and its surrounding areas. Visit to Wilson's School
We are offering a number of opportunities to visit Wilson's School across four dates in June 2025. The visits are for prospective pupils currently in Year 5 who are due to transfer to secondary school in September 2026. To book a visit please choose your preferred date and time slot and book your tickets. Prospective pupils can be accompanied by up to two parents/carers. Each time slot includes a tour of the school and its facilities accompanied by a member of staff or one of our Sixth Form students who will be happy to talk to you about the school and answer any questions that you may have. These visits will take place at the end of a normal school day and you will therefore be able to see first-hand the opportunities for pupils beyond the classroom. At the end of your guided tour you will be escorted to the John Jenkins Hall for a talk from the Head. On each of the four available dates we offer three sessions. The table below shows the timings for each visit session. Please note that it is important for you to arrive on time for your slot (we suggest you aim to arrive 5 minutes early). Please note: Each prospective pupil must be in Year 5 (starting secondary school in September 2026). In order to ensure as many people as possible are able to visit the school we ask that a maximum of three tickets per group is reserved (including child). Only one visit is allowed per child. We are the local community choir with the national reputation - join the Purley Rock Choir and experience the singing phenomenon that Will Smith described as 'Fantastic'. Whilst retaining our community spirit, we come together en masse for national and regional events, giving our members unrivalled performance opportunities and experiences beyond compare, ranging from appearing at Wembley Stadium to sing at the Rugby in October 2013 to our local Surrey music, food and fireworks festivals! If you find yourself racing through the week with no time for yourself, or struggling to meet new people in the area, then joining your local Purley choir could be just the thing for you. With our unique, no-pressure approach to teaching and fun, uplifting arrangements of your favorite hit songs Valerie will guide you through your weekly dose of music, fun and laughter.
