"During the Peasants' Revolt of 1381, the Kentish rebels met with royal government representatives on Blackheath and continued into London, killing government officials, attacking gaols and setting fire to buildings in the City. Eventually the rebels were forced out of London, but continued to cause trouble in other parts of the South West."

New Lands is BACK and better than ever, presenting a tag team bill of the best new live music every other Tuesday, all for a fiver. Our second offering for April is a pop night through and through with a live set from Bella Unwin and a debut show from Irish artist Matthew Ryan Thomas. Our live acts will be followed by the resident New Lands DJs, who'll be spinning tunes to fit the bill on each edition. Expect deep cuts, anthems and more to soundtrack a perfect Tuesday tipple. ACCESSIBILITY Venue - There is one step up to access the pub, however, there is a ramp available which staff can assist in putting in place when required. Toilet - Due to the listed nature of the building, we do not currently have a wheelchair accessible toilet in our venue. However, we do have a single cubicle fitted with a rail in the ballroom.
