If you are wanting to find a choir you'll like singing with us in the Windsor Rock Choir. The Windsor Rock Choir is led by vocal teacher Lucy Hewes. People who have already joined the choir, who hail from Windsor and further afield in Berkshire often have never sung before or had any vocal tuition. Once you join the choir you will find you learn the songs by rote from a brilliant set of resources and you will be amazed how quickly you go from 'not sure' to 'performance ready'. The songs are uniquely arranged by Rock Choir founder Caroline Redman Lusher to make songs easy to sing yet still challenge you in places. Kira loves reading, visiting the library for a new book is her favourite thing. One day the words in the books start to disappear and the adults start to get grumpy. Graham Grey says the library will be knocked down to make way for a car park! With her new friend the book worm, Kira has to uncover why words are vanishing and where these book monsters have come from! Could there be a Book Witch in the library? An open hearted show exploring the importance of libraries, sharing stories and not judging people. The show features live music, puppetry and storytelling. Created with inclusion and accessibility in mind and including key word signing and integrated captions. Presented by Coppice Theatre. Debby Bracknell Voice Stuart Henderson Trumpet Howard King Double Bass Tom Neill Piano An accomplished lead, session and backing vocalist Debby Bracknell has travelled the world singing for top artists such as Mariah Carey, Ariana Grande, Shakatak, Mica Paris, and is a regular at London's famous 606 Jazz Club. From 1983 - 2005, Stuart Henderson was principal trumpet of The Scots Guards Band, in Her Majestys Household Division. Since leaving the services Stuart has become one of the country's finest jazz musicians. He leads various small groups and is musical director of the Remix Jazz Orchestra, playing at jazz festivals including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Brecon. Recording credits include collaborations with Tongues of Fire, Macnas and Mark Anderson Dark Spark. His commercial work includes the Rebecca Poole quartet, the String of Pearls, Joe Loss, The Showbiz Pops Orchestra and Nick Heyward. Come and meet each instrument of the orchestra in this performance of Benjamin Brittens The Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra. Explore all the different sounds that an orchestra can make in this special informal concert in the spectacular Eton College School Hall. This is a live concert performed by the Eton College Symphony Orchestra with a narrator. Suitable for families with children aged 6 years up.
