I always make a quick pit stop at this coffee van on the Narrow Way in the morning.

I love the beginner swing dance classes at The Royal Inn on the Park every Tuesday. The classes are fun, the teachers and students are friendly and the dancing is great! A great way to meet new people, get some exercise and, of course, learn to dance.

Perfect for a fun day out, especially in the summer, this outdoor pool in Hackney's London Fields is one of London's last remaining lidos. It is open all year round and is, of course, heated. Why not grab lunch from either one of their two cafes after an exciting dip?!

Skateboarding through Victoria Park is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Possibly heading to Broadway Market after to find coffee and more than likely after a few skateboard tricks, a pharmacy.

High quality fresh and organic products in Hackney. I often pop in to this fruit and veg shop for their fresh produce and a coffee. Very handy!

This place is great for brunches and lunches. They have a cabaret place downstairs so you really could stay all day if you wanted to!

Open every Sunday, you can enjoy a Sunday walk in the park and have a bite to eat and a pint in the middle of it! Great day out with family or friends on a nice and sunny day.

Diddy's, a café by day and bustling bar by night is a cultural hub situated on the corner of Mare Street and beck road. Just a stone throw away from London fields, this bright and light space offers everything from coffee to their signature cocktails at reasonable prices creating an environment where patrons feel valued and where you "can have a night out without feeling like you have spent all your rent money" owned by Diddy herself.

On the border of London Fields, its a fantastic pub with a big outdoor area and reasonable drink prices too.

A revival of an old local boozer, residents fought hard to prevent this building being turned into flats and won after it was granted to be an 'asset of community value'!

A great place to grab a coffee, freshly prepared snacks or cake, while overlooking one of Victoria Park's lakes.
