Wonder Women: 100 Years of Women’s Lives in Redbridge
To celebrate Women’s History Month, this Redbridge Museum exhibition explores the lives of women in Ilford, Wanstead, and Woodford over the past 100 years. The displays uncover the local suffragette campaign to win the vote, the impacts of two world wars, the changing pattern of work, education, family life, and sisterhood. The exhibition features historic objects, photographs and oral histories and is a unique chance to meet Redbridge’s very own ‘Wonder Women’. The exhibition takes place on the First Floor of Redbridge Central Library, from 7 March to 12 April. This exhibition is part of Women’s History Month.Read more
