Sutton has a lot going for it, and with plenty of money being invested in the area, things can only get better. It has great schools, shopping, bars and restaurants, as well as being half an hour into central London for the commuters amongst us. It's a great place for families with a good range of houses in safe residential areas. We moved here from South West London 10 years ago and quickly made friends in the area. If you want to go for a night out in central London, you can easily get a train back or grab an Uber for not much more. On the weekends we can walk the dog on Nonsuch Park or The Oaks, go out for a Sunday lunch at any number of places, or have a relaxing barbecue with friends. If you like golf you are spoiled for choice, with a large number of high quality courses within 20 minutes of our front door...

Sutton actually has a lot going for it. Some of the best schools in the country including Sutton Grammar School and the parks such as Nonsuch Park are great too, with excellent facilities. Transport links are great with regular trains to Victoria, Clapham Junction and London Bridge and most in less than 30 minutes. Cheam is a lovely village in the borough of Sutton with some of the largest houses I have ever seen! With such great proximity to London you get the best of both worlds.

Lying on the lower slopes of the North Downs, the South London town of Sutton is located 10 miles (16 km) south-southwest of Charing Cross and has good transport links to Central London and other areas. There’s a good mix of independent and high street shops, a couple of shopping centres and a selection of restaurants and pubs. You’ll also find a multiplex cinema and a theatre, sport and recreation clubs and facilities and numerous good schools. Sutton also has several parks and open spaces and two local nature reserves. The town is popular with renters, especially young families with school-going children.
