Foxtons fees

Annual rent up to £50,000 Equivalent to five weeks' rent

Annual rent exceeding £50,000 Equivalent to six weeks' rent

Deposit for a short let tenancy £700 or equivalent to one weeks' rent (whichever is greater)

Contract variation, novation, amendment or change of occupant at the tenant’s request within an existing tenancy £50 (or reasonable costs if higher)

Default fee of interest on late rent if rent is more than 14 days overdue 3% above Bank of England base rate

Fees for Non-Housing Act Tenancies /Non-Licences. Tenant fee: £250 per person

This is fixed-cost fee that can cover a variety of works depending on the individual circumstances of each tenancy, including but not limited to conducting viewings, negotiating the tenancy, verifying references, undertaking Right to Rent checks (if applicable) and drawing up contracts. It is charged on a per individual basis – not per tenancy. The charge will not exceed £250 per individual and will only be applied to the first four individuals entering into the tenancy where there are more than four individuals taking occupation of the property. The charge will not exceed this sum unless you request or cause one of the specific additional services or fees set out elsewhere in this document.

Long let agreements £450

Referral Fees: Our vetted contractor may pay a referral fee to Foxtons. The fee paid will be included within the contractor's invoice and could be up to 25% of the total invoice amount depending on the service provided, the details of which are available on request. This does not affect the final amount you pay.

Rent Protection Service from £420 (please ask for a precise quote)

Foxtons’ sales fees are based on a percentage of the final sale price of your home.

Rather than applying a standard fee to every property, we provide a tailored quotation that reflects the individual characteristics of your home, including its value, type and location. Following your free, no obligation valuation, your local Foxtons expert will explain our recommendation and provide a clear, transparent quotation.

Full conveyancing service. Please request individual quotation. Conveyan will pay Foxtons a referral fee of up to £190.00 (£228.00 inc VAT) for each sale/purchase or remortgage completed. Foxtons does not receive a referral fee from solicitors firms but our staff may individually receive a £10 shopping voucher. This does not affect the amount of legal fees you pay or your ability to choose your own legal services provider.
