Ever wondered if there is a 'local ladies choir near me or nearby'? Your friendly local Wanstead (Woodford) choir is run by vocal tutor Nicola Cain. The choir is for all ages and all the local London branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible performances like the 11,000 seat Wembley Arena that ITV1 asked to film for the Rock Choir documentary 'The Choir that Rocks' and also our numerous Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local London music and food festivals. Joining a choir can be a brave step to take for some and in light of this Nicola tries to make it as easy as possible for you by giving the opportunity to have a FREE taster session and then to have a chat with her about singing. Rock Choir is the leading group in community singing. We launched our FREE choir taster sessions back in 2005 and have 19 years experience giving members of the public who are new to singing in a choir the chance to try joining a choir without the need to audition or read music. The Suitcase Storytelling Company was founded in 2019 by storytellers Niall Moorjani and Minnie Wilkinson. Their work blends found object theatre with oral tradition storytelling, bringing joy to their audiences through original folk tale-style stories with progressive narratives. They are keen to engage with children and families that don’t often see themselves represented on stage.

This session will introduce kids to basic programming and train them to use their skills to make a robot move, light up and groove the way they want! The Botley does not require a computer, which makes it a great screen-free way to teach kids code.​ Ozobots are mini robots that use colour combinations to move the robot and are designed as an introduction to coding. Botley’s are suitable for Ages 5-8.  Ozobots are suitable for Ages 8-14.
