Sourced Market

Sourced Market

I can get the perfect poached eggs on toast in the morning and then go back in the evening for a bottle of craft beer!

Pho House

Pho House

After trying nearly all of the Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road, this is by far the best. The setting is cool with graffiti style art on the walls and the service is excellent compared to other places on the same road. Complimentary tea and watermelon at the end is exactly what is needed after trying the extensive menu of pho, noodles, summer rolls and fresh fish.

BIRD

BIRD

The only place in London to do a bacon doughnut... They also have amazing chicken and lunchtime deals in the week!

Nightjar

Nightjar

The most sophistication you can find between two kebab shops on a roundabout. A speakeasy-style cocktail bar underneath the adjacent shops, serving the best cocktail creations in town.

Honest Burgers

Honest Burgers

The Honest Burger cocktails are absolutely fantastic and the staff are exceptionally friendly too!

The Barbican Exhibition Centre

The Barbican Exhibition Centre

A quirky but intimate spot for live plays and music events. Home of London Symphony Orchestra!

Look Mum No Hands

Look Mum No Hands

A great concept for anyone who loves cycling. Full-time mechanics working upstairs that can help with flat tyres and answer any questions about bikes, as well as a great outdoor area to sit and bask in the sun with a coffee and food.

Tramshed

Tramshed

A Mark Hix restaurant with a huge Damien Hurst cow and chicken on display, created specifically for Tramshed! The menu is simple but very tasty!

Proper coffee in warehouse-style surroundings and food too, served from breakfast through to dinner.

Quirky interiors and crazy cocktails, this restaurant-cum-club is great for a number of different occasions.

Flat Iron

Best steak restaurant around. So tasty and very reasonably priced!

Urban Food Fest

This food festival off Shoreditch High Street is there every Saturday throughout the day and late into the night. There's loads of delicious food stalls with cuisines from all over the world and bars serving tasty cocktails.

"During the 1940s, Electra House used to house Department EH which bugged foreign embassies and produced propaganda to undermine enemy operations in Europe."

Walking along Great Eastern Street, it is clear to see this area's artistic past and present.

Andrew Phillips

The street art on this wall is constantly changing, which makes for a beautiful and rousing walk to work every morning. Expect the unexpected on Great Eastern Street!

Kayleigh Harvey

Shoreditch is to London now, what King's Road was in the '60s.
