Many parts of South London like Clapham and Balham have transformed in the past 10 years, becoming rental hotspots for professionals who work in central London and the City. Right by King George's Park and the River Wandle in Earlsfield, Westfield Waterside is just one of the spots being developed close to Southside Shopping Centre in Wandsworth, where there has been a hive of activity the past few years. Here, The Ram Quarter is an exciting reinvention of the Young's brewery site, which aims to conserve and enhance the existing listed buildings, alongside the creation of new apartment buildings, piazzas, a museum and a microbrewery that preserves the brewery's heritage. To cope with the burgeoning demand for schools that this development and expansion creates, Wandsworth Borough Council saw the need for a new school in Earlsfield, Floreat Wandsworth Primary, which was successfully opened in September this year.

I would like to highlight the fantastic service I received from one of your employees, Shahin, working out of your Tooting office (now moved to Wimbledon I believe). As part of my role I find properties for clients with disabilities which can often be extremely difficult, particularly when looking to secure something for rent that then requires works to suit their disability. It is often extremely difficult for agents and landlord to understand these unexpected requirements of a prospective tenant. Shahin was incredibly pro-active in helping us to explain the situation to the landlord and went over and above expectations to help get the tenancy agreement in place. He understood the scenario, arranged and attended necessary meetings at the property and was hugely professional at all times. I'd like to say a huge thank you to him for his assistance throughout the process and reiterate how pleased and impressed I was by his approach. The service which Jessica from Foxtons Tooting provided to us was exceptionally good. Our stay in London was quite short and frustrating until we got in contact with Jessica. She is a very kind and empathetic person. Within two hours after our initial phone contact she had organized a meeting with 5 subsequent viewings. She was very attentive to our request and moved the matter efficiently forward. We had to return to Germany but she continuously looked for further apartments which could be appropriate, sent us pictures, made videos and provided plenty of information. Jessica has always been available, either by phone or by email. Thanks to her motivated and dedicated work we could very quickly find an apartment which perfectly suits us.

Dear Foxtons, My family and I had arranged some accomodation and it fell through 5 days prior to our expected move date. I'm sure you can imagine, my stress levels were beyond their normal levels. I attempted to contact almost every available listing in south west London. I advised most agents of my predicament and urgently asked to view some properties. I really expected a speedy response however only one agent on Tuesday the 20th of June got back to me. His name was Shahin from Foxtons. I must admit, I already have preconceptions about estate agents and when Shahin said he would do everything to help me, I was slightly sceptical. To my surprise, that evening he sent an email with an appointment time the very next day. The next day, we spent a lot of time viewing different properties until late in the evening and nothing seemed suitable. Later that night (really late) he then looked across Foxtons stock of properties and sent me 10-12 different options. Two looked very promising. On Thursday, we viewed a lovely apartment in Parsons Green, he liaised with his colleagues in the Fulham Broadway office and helped us secure the apartment. I'm not sure, but you may have heard similar stories, but based on my experience Shahin differentiated himself from the 9 different agencies. The fact that I spoke to him on Tuesday evening, and on Thursday the landlord accepted our offer is nothing short of amazing. Further to the above, I feel Shahin is compassionate, professional, dedicated and a genuinely nice guy. He even said through our conversations that he loves Foxtons and his job. This guy deserves employee of the year! My family and I are tremendously grateful for his herculean effort and I have subsequently told many friends about my Foxtons experience.
