Bermondsey is an area in London on the south bank of the river Thames, and is part of the London Borough of Southwark. To the west lies Southwark, to the east Rotherhithe, and to the south, Walworth and Peckham. To the east of Tower Bridge, Bermondsey's 3.5 miles of riverside are lined with warehouses and wharves, of which the best known is the developed Butler's Wharf.
