Burning Rope
Burning Rope is a new band on the circuit. Following the tragic loss last autumn of Catfish frontman Matt Long, who was a favourite as a solo artist at the club, his bandmates Paul Long, Adam Pyke and Phil Wilson have combined forces with guitarist Alex Voysey to form Burning Rope. According to Paul, they will be playing "some of the songs I wrote for Catfish, some of my songs from my old band The Riotous Brothers, as well as brand new material." If you have ever wondered 'are there any community choirs near me?' then the answer is firmly yes! Your local Camberley choir is run by Surrey based musician Danny Gortler. We have a great year lined up and we would like to invite you to join our choir and take part in the local Camberley and wider Surrey community. We are the Camberley rehearsal of the trailblazing Rock Choir. We often team up with the other local Surrey choirs to sing in concert in much bigger choral groups. These inspirational moments are unique to the Rock Choir experience. It's unbelievable and you can still join the choir.
