Within just a few minutes' walk of Richmond Park, The Albert is the perfect pub to hole up in after an Autumn walk in the park.

Richmond Park is amazingly beautiful and a great place to walk yourself and your dog. It feels like you're in the countryside, as you see green for miles even though you are in Kingston. Plus the park is full of deer and you can get close to them. Great place for cycling too.

A lovely community green space that is the perfect place to go and walk your dog. There is a good sized field and a play area for young children, including an outdoor bouncy castle.

A great pub for a family Sunday roast and a very dog-friendly place. It's in a lovely, quiet residential area too.

The kebabs in this authentic Turkish restaurant are superb! They make fresh bread daily and their own chilli sauce, as well as showcasing belly dancers on a Wednesday!

"The name Kingston has evolved over the centuries from "Cyninges tun", to "Chingstune", then "Kingeston", "Kyngeston super Tamisiam" and perhaps most familiar "Kingestowne upon Thames in 1589."
