Earth, aka iPlanet, is under the control of a corporation run by Killer Queen, who forces all of the Ga Ga Kids to conform to and consume the same culture, fashion, and ideas. But Galileo hears lyrics of lost songs in his dreams.

Starlight is excited to be performing the classic musical Annie. This beloved musical that tells the heartwarming story of a spirited young orphan named Annie who dreams of a better life beyond the confines of the orphanage. Set during the Great Depression, the musical captures Annie's adventures as she is selected to spend a week with the wealthy Oliver Warbucks, who is initially gruff but gradually warms up to her infectious optimism. Through memorable songs like "Tomorrow" and "Its a Hard Knock Life," "Annie" explores themes of hope, resilience, and the search for family, ultimately reminding audiences of the power of love and friendship amidst adversity. Boogietown returns to Apps Court Farm on 9th and 10th September 2023 for its biggest ever weekend of funk, soul and disco across four stages and new for 2023 camping options. This year's epic headliners include a mix of 50+ red hot and pioneering DJs and live acts from across the ages such as Billy Ocean, Earth Wind & Fire, The Tramps, Fatback Band, Armand Van Helden, The Shapeshifters, Trevor Nelson, DJ Spoony, Jocelyn Brown, Jazzie B, Omar, Groove Armada, Artwork, Crazy P, Craig Charles, The Nextmen, Norman Jay MBE, Killa Kutz and more. Apps Court Farm is just 35 minutes from London amongst the bends of the Thames River, ancient woodland, undulating green hills and hidden lakes. It's a lush site with brilliant Boogietown production that the festival is so well known for. On top of the music, there is a wealth of activities to keep mind, body and soul enriched from relaxation and wellness areas to carefully curated food and drinks offerings, a funfair, fireworks, disco yoga and extraordinary VIP options. That music is on four different stages each with their own look and feel. The Main Stage on Saturday welcomes Billy Ocean, Earth Wind & Fire, The Tramps, Fatback Band, Loose Ends and more, with the Disco Disco Stage headlined by house hero Armand Van Helden, the vocal and soulful sound of The Shapeshifters plus esteemed scene mainstays Fat Tony, DJ Paulette and more. Trevor Nelson's Soul Notation stage is headed up by the soul pioneer himself with Lemar, Romina Johnson, Shola Ama and Ju's Neil then Boogie Bus is where DJ Spoony, Nam, Marcia Marr, Mr Thing, Abi Clarker and others bring a cross section of boogie, funk, soul and more. On Sunday, The Main Stage is where Shalamar, Tavares, Jocelyn Brown, Jazzie B, Omar, Gwen Dickey, Ellie Sax, Boogietown Classical and more all bring the sounds. Disco Disco brings the party with a Groove Armada DJ set, Artwork, Crazy P, Kirollus, Eliza Mat and more, while the Craig Charles Funk & Soul stage is headed up by the tastemaking 6 Music host with The Nextmen, Sam Redmore & Magoos Tropical Soundclash, Last of all, Boogie Bus welcomes the master of all things dub, funk and soul Norman Jay MBE with DJ Killa Kutz, Filth Dirty Disco, Sharples and more. Come and have an evening of Singing and Dancing

Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, international duo Dialogue of Minds visits Riverside Arts Centre in their second London tour. Praised for their great sensitivity and technical virtuosity, British-Australian clarinetist Kristina Newton and Swedish pianist Joel Slott come together in an evening where timeless masters of classical music meet with exciting new voices of today. The program commences with the Australian Margaret Sutherlands lyrical Clarinet Sonata. The energetic high points of Finzis Five Bagatelles and the romantic Premiere Rhapsodie by Debussy will both draw parallels with the alternatingly vivid and melodic Suite Fantastique by Swedish composer and professor Rolf Martinsson. Dialogue of Minds is also proud to present their newly commissioned work by celebrated Swedish composer Nicole Rubinova. The program will conclude with a joyful a virtuosic arrangement of Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik. This performance will take place at Riverside Arts Centre, built in the 1850s, located Sunbury on Thames.
