What locals say about Southgate

“I love Southgate because it has lots of green space, excellent transport links, great schools and a lovely village feel.”

“The Southgate Green area is a lovely, leafy area that feels like a village community. The parade of local shops and restaurants on Cannon Hill provides the cafe culture whilst Grovelands Park gives the area a rural feel. With an array of community events throughout the year and an incredible view across central London, Southgate Green gives you a taste of both urban and rural life.”

“Great schools. Nice roads. Roomy houses. Community feel. Safe and easy to get into Town on the tube or walk up to th BR at Winchmore Hill. Great parks and a nice town centre, a good M&S, great leisure centre. Great middle class part of North London at a good price.”
