While the play focuses on the relationships between the three couples, at the centre of the drama is a love triangle between RAF bomber pilot Teddy, his actress wife Patricia and her ex-lover, Hollywood film star Peter Kyle. Torn between her feelings for the two very different men, Patricia finds herself at the centre of an emotional conflict as unpredictable as the war in the skies.
