In addition to the great nurseries and abundance of 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools (state and private) within easy walking distance, Roundwood Park is just a few minutes walk away. The array of activities, cafes, and social groups for parents have made this a really supportive area to have and raise a family. Additionally, the sense of community on the street is really strong, The neighbourhood is diverse and welcoming - people really look out for one another, in addition to exchanging gifts for Christmas/Eid and other celebrations. We recommend the park cafe, Rubio's, Nilly's Supper Club, and our favourite takeaway; Bombay Kitchen. The house is great for hosting, and the garden is a real haven - we barely come inside during the summer. There are 3 seating areas which get the sun at different times of the day, and long into the summer evenings. The fruit trees are prolific - we're still eating last year's apple crumble!
