Gives her personal account of working at Foxtons.
Before joining Foxtons I worked for a large, well known, international agency where I worked my way up to being an Associate of the firm. Although I was happy in my previous company I wanted something more challenging, where I felt there was room to develop my career further. Foxtons had the reputation of being London's leading estate agency and it was growing at a fast pace. I liked that there was a clear career path and hard work ethic was recognised.
I began my career in the Muswell Hill office and within a year was promoted to Rare Sales Negotiator meaning I had the opportunity to sell properties at any value. Due to our connected networks, I sold properties from many of the different branches too, including Hampstead, Crouch End and Islington.
Whilst working as Negotiator I worked my way through the car targets and I am currently driving a Mercedes. I also hit trip targets including a great weekend in Spain last summer. I was then promoted to Sales Valuer in St John's Wood, and in January 2016 I have been given the chance to return to my first office as a Sales Valuer in Muswell Hill. I enjoy that every day is different and no valuation is the same. We work with vendors all over the world and manage a portfolio covering a huge range of values.
