With Bonfire Night approaching this weekend, we’ve found the best places to see some of the most spectacular firework displays, no matter where you live in London.
North London
Alexandra Palace offers both firework and laser displays on the Friday and the Saturday this week against stunning panoramic views across London. That’s not all they offer though, with the UK’s largest German Bier festival, a Mexican Day of the Dead parade, Ice skating and more.
When?
Friday: entry from 4pm. Fireworks 9 - 9.25pm
Saturday: entry from 3pm. Fireworks 8 - 8.25pm

West London
Ealing is the place to go for Fireworks Night if you’re a west Londoner. A funfair and a family zone are sure to keep the kids entertained, while a bar marquee and DJ set will get the celebrations started for the adults. A market street is also on offer with a variety of craft stalls.

East London
Over to the east of London, Newham celebrates Guy Fawkes Night at Wanstead Flats and invites you to join them for free! The display is set to the tunes of a number of well-known movie soundtracks and food and drink will be available.

South London
Wimbledon Park offers not one but two themed firework displays. The first is titled ‘Magic’ and is more suitable for a younger crowd, with a second show, ‘All around the world’, following later in the evening. A funfair, refreshments, stalls and bonfires will be available up until 10:00pm.

Thursday: entry from 5.15pm. Fireworks 6.45pm and 8.30pm

Busy this weekend? The Lord Mayor’s Show on Saturday 12th November is sure to make up for missing out on Guy Fawkes Night. The historic event includes a river pageant from 9am, an 11am procession and fireworks at 5.15pm.
