Today we can reveal the London boroughs where house prices have seen the highest annual rises over the past year. And it’s not just in the outskirts of London where prices have grown the most, which may surprise some of you.
According to the most recently published Land Registry Data, the London borough with the highest house price growth is Haringey. Covering Crouch End, Wood Green and Alexandra Park, it has experienced an increase of 11.97% year on year – from March 2016 to 2017 – to an average price of £571,511.
The data shows that to date, Haringey is the only London borough to see average annual price changes climb above 10% over the past year, but closely behind this is Havering at 9.86%.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has the highest average house price of all London’s boroughs at £1,406,839, where property prices have seen strong growth at 6.65% in the past year.
