A refresh for buyer sentiment: good news for you
Spring sunshine acts as a powerful motivator for both buyers and sellers. After months of gloomy weather, people crave a fresh start. And what better way to embrace a new chapter than to find that new home they’ve been discussing for so long?
The latest Bank of England analysis, covering March’s data, revealed the rate of mortgage approvals have improved once again, rising “from 60,500 in February to 61,300 in March, the highest number of net approvals since September 2022.” (Money and Credit – March 2024, Bank of England), giving buyers a go-ahead to start looking.
Price sensitivity remains a big factor, however, and it isn’t likely to change in the coming market, so it’s best to get your property priced and selling strategy prepared by a professional to ensure your home gets the both the attention and the sales price it deserves.
Foxtons have sprung into action, and we can help you do it too
At Foxtons, we're off to a great spring. Compared year to date to 2023, we've seen a significant increase in buyer registrations and successful deals. With more motivated buyers actively searching, we can find the perfect buyer for your home.
“Home-owners are springing into action, with Thursday 28th March seeing the highest number of new sellers coming to the market in one day so far in 2024, and the third largest since August 2020”
– Rightmove House Price Index April 2024
